Hey Catamount, I can't say for sure about your bike, but I know alot of bikes you have to remove the rear pegs for a high mount can. So some people might go with standard if they're planning on taking the ol' lady on alot of trips or something. High mounts look awesome, do it. Plus then just gives ya more of an excuse that the ol' lady can't go with ya! "Sorry honey, no pegs back there for you, see ya in a week!!!" :-D
