They are made to ride, I'm glad you are enjoying yours. I have a 2000 and have been lucky enough to miss the dreaded coil issue. I also have not had the issue with the fuse box you mention, I don't recall seeing a lot about that on this forum. Not sure what to tell you other than enjoy your ride.
