Yes it looks like you're looking at a Triumph only part. The best I can tell from you're description is it's either (from the microfiche) a retainer (part # 3500020-T0301) or an insert (part # 2700195-T0301).
I doubt either piece would be expensive but your dealer would most likely have to order it.
