Rude, sorry to hear about the spill but at least you are OK
and the sliders worked. I have the same question ,did the
axle sliders do anything?
I always wear a full face helmet, reinforced gloves and
armored jacket ( or I don't ride ). Besides getting a helmet
cracked as I hit the ground in 1966 after being hit by a drunk
driver, my full face with big donut neck brace kept me from
getting a broken neck when I hit the concrete wall twice
at Road America in my Porsche Turbo ( I was OK, if anyone
can call $35,000 of damage OK
