Went out today to see if I could find a 90 degree valve stem adapter, as some of the air hoses around here are a real pain to use - especially on the rear tire. Dropped into my dealer first (Ottawa Good Time Centre) expecting he wouldn't have any, as they seem to be primarily a BMW thing. But he did! Similar to the one pictured below, but a Chinese knock-off rather that the Wunderlich item shown. Also about half the price at Cdn$7.95.
Note that you don't ride with this in place, but just use it to extend the valve stem out to the side if you have trouble with a certain air hose nozzle. Actually, the reason my dealer had them in stock was for some of the Kawasaki Vulcans which apparently also have the same problem. Suggest you try a BMW dealer if your local doesn't carry them. Or Google "90 degree valve stem adapter".
