No worries about the length of your story, I always like to hear about people's journey's on their bikes. I have just returned from a fairly big tour of Europe covering about 2,300 miles in six days. My workmates were getting fed up with me babbling on about how easy it was on my Big Stripey!.
Trust me the gel seat is a revelation! It really stops any butt crippling discomfort, even after a 580 mile non-stop 'gas'n'go' ride back from Colmar.
About the only thing to remember with the gel seat, is to cover it up if you leave the bike in the sun. The gel does get hot......and stays hot! for a fair while
