If you are use to looking through a typical cruiser windshield, yes it can be. But I switch back and forth from one bike to the other and really don't notice it.. and I have Corbin's Trim Tab for a shield. This picture is also very deceiving based on angle of photograph.
Harley's Street Glide has a similar shield and it's low enough to look over the top of the screen. And You can also change out the screen to have something taller.
Harley's Road Glide - has the dual headlight configuration and it is mounted differently.
