well, just got her back from the dealership. they tell me (just as they surmised over the phone) that i had a pinched breather tube and they needed to reroute it. seems to me that this would cause the fuel to NOT flow, and as you know, i had fuel all over the floor of my garage.
perhaps i just don't understand the mechanics of it all here but she is nevertheless running incredibly well now. tomorrow i'll put some serious miles of her and get a real feel for the permanence of the solution.
