This is only partly in jest, but, reading the posts on this forum the most common problems seem to be self inflicted: messing with the bike to make it "better."
On a slightly more serious note, a common gripe is the seat bolts and the "coin-operated" side panel bolts, which can easily be solved with a set of the hand-turn alloy bolts from newbonneville.com. Another complaint is softening and flaking of paint inside the filler neck, especially on pre 2005 models.
Coming here from the triples forum after I totalled my Tbird what is remarkable to me is how few manufacturing problems of any consequence anybody reports. There are a few threads on poor dealer setup, but that is hardly a bike problem. Its a people problem, and it is NOT restricted to Triumph dealers.
Much of our technical talk is about mods, fixing problems caused by the mods, modifying the mods, buying mods, making mods, etc.
What else? Well, as the posts above suggest, the problems are pretty generic to any bike.
Oh, did I mention mods????????
Monte :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
I think you have missed the point.
