It is funny that you mention it as I am currently doing some trials on fuel consumption now that I have put a Fitch in the tank.
Prior I was getting about 220-230 kilometres before the fuel light came on (about 45mpg) and now I am currently getting around 280-290 k before the light comes on (about 55mpg). That 's about a 24.75% decrease in fuel usage according to my adding machine
I was cautious about making claims on comparisons this early in to the test but initially I am quite impressed.
Starting, acceleration, smoothness is about the same but the MPG is a great improvement IMO.
A guy at work tried it in his Yami V1200 and got better acceleration and better fuel economy also.
It works well for me anyway, and I ride pretty hard too.
