While I was waiting on my murdercycle's 500 mile checkup at the dealer, I was bored and I compared a 2005 Black Bonnie to a 2006 Black Bonnie. I noticed that the 2005 had the wires described above, routed above the engine where that platic wire-guide would snap in that vacant hole. The 2006 (and my own 2006) however, have the wires routed under the engine and around the cover below the sprocket cover and are maintained in place by a metal clip near the sprocket cover. The wires are going under the bike near the oil filter and back up via the rear wheel mud-guard. The vacant hole on my bike does have a black plastic filler though.
