I think the cam profiles or lift are different on the thruxton engines maybe resulting in higher fuel consumption,I dont really know.I bought the thruxton for the better front brake and more adjustable suspension and it was the same price as the t100 (@The Euro Shop in Waco,TX)but hopefully the mileage gets better with age.I have thought about taking the tank to a chopper/rat rod fab shop and having it made a little wider,I don't want it to look like it came off a harley though!Thats really what got me thinking about the Speedmaster or Bonnie America models and whether the capacity is greater and the mounts are the same,it would be nice to just swap tanks with another Triumph model if any of 'em hold more fuel
