Earlier this week a friend asked if I could help him do an oil change on his Bonnie as he's not very mechanically minded (or very bright!) Anyway I said I would come round on Saturday to give him a hand. He phoned me this morning in a state of pannick as rather than wait for me to help him he'd changed the oil and filter himself yesterday but, had failed to fill the new filter with oil before running it. I've told him not to worry too much but, he's convinced he's knackered the motor. I really don't think it's a major issue but, what do you chaps think?
