We are not alone in the "this bike takes forever to warm up!" Usually, I let it warm as I'm putting all my gear on. Push the choke off and go.
There must be a science behind it, but I just adjust the idle as low as it will go without stalling or hesitating when taking off.
I guess I'm not much help. But congrats on the new Trump. You're going to love it! I've seen two Bonnie Blacks and a yellow Thruxton in SJ. One of these days, we all have to find our way to pub together.
