Regardless of whether YOU decide to live with it or not (as I have on occasion), you would be doing a disservice to the dealership if you didn't at least mention it to the Service Manager. He NEEDS to approach the technician about the shoddy workmanship, and record that it was brought to his attention..... otherwise the uncaring/sloppy tech' will continue to perform such half-assed work.

You also increase the chances of the service manager OFFERING to replace the damaged parts, as opposed to your demanding his attention.
