OK got one in makro yesterday. runs 1000W. It can throw steam or a small jet of hot water.

front wheel a doddle. Run steamer over rim and spokes, take clean dry rag, wipe down looks great.

back wheel as above except grease from chain doesnt move (maybe I just didnt hit it hard enough but spokes cleaned up great. again just steam and wipe with a rag - no scrubbing.

Next step is to buy some kinda all round cleaner to spray on first let it lie 5mins then see if the steam lifts it. failing that the rear will get sprayed with degreasant then as above.

front was dead easy and took no time. Back with a little extra help should do so to.

The steam doesnt just blow the muck off though, not enough power I think but I also think that might be too much power anyway to be near sealed bearings etc.

I will report back after further testing
