What bonnietiler said... you could even go so far as to relace some of the mounting bolts, ect. with wing nuts so you wouldn't even need tools. I just leave mine on, I only took them off once to adjust the Progressives, And Valkie came up with a way to do that with a strap wrench. Those Beetles are very handy, usually when you least expect it.. :-D
