New question along the same line.
1) When you squeeze the front brake the rear light should light up right? I had my battery on again today and hooked up the rear light, when I squeezed the front brake------no light. When I pull the switch on the chain guard-----no light. I tested the rear switch and it is good.
2) How does on test the front brake cable? there is a little "dohickey" on the cable with two spade connectors. One for a white wire and one for a brown wire. (the same color wires go into the stop lamp switch on the chain guard.)
3) The rear light however has a funny connector with a brown/green wire and a brown wire. my rear light has a black and a red wire to connect to the brown/brown-green wire. Which one goes to which??? :???:
