OK next weekend is a bank holiday.
Well I know of a small village to the east of the M6 called Dent.
It has a biker friendly campsite with good facilities.
The village has two pubs owned by the Dent brewery. (Yes the village has a brewery)
The local ale is good and the meals fair.
It is a beautiful part of the country with excellent scenery close to the lakes if you want to go that way and Yorkshire dales the other.
It is not as crowded as the lakes and is generally quieter.
I am thinking of camping the bank holiday weekend here with Girlfriend and sprog so probably will not be able to spend all day riding the tigger but may be able to go for a quick blast.
If anybody is interested then I can post the campsite number.
