The brakes on the 1050 are great. In fact, Motorcycle Consumer News recorded their shortest ever 60 to 0 stop on a new Speed Triple. The problem all lies in the "feel". Everybody hates it. That's why there isn't an official fix. Triumphs bottom line: "They're supposed to feel that way. They're progressive brakes." Translation: "We still really don't know what's wrong with these puppies, so do what you can to placate the masses."

Many of the "Fixes" work, but most of them are temporary. People are reporting good results with replacing the master cylinder, but the only factory approved fix is to clean and lube the calipers. What the duck?

I'm sacrificing a chicken at the dark of the moon. Should fix everything.
