I am very sorry to read that the new NORTON'S will not be. It is very difficult for a start up company to be successful. This is too bad. The Marque is packed full of mortorcycling history with a multitude of world championships for more than four decades starting before WWII. This includes the coveted Isle of Man TT with the Manx singles and Atlas chasis of feather bed fame. Historically the Norton's, along with Triumph's, AJS's, Moto Guzzi's, BMW's, and many other Marques led the racing world into the frenzy of fast. The AJS supercharged porqupine 4 cylinder, the Moto Guzzi V-8, and all of the great manufactures/builders of the great history, I salute all of the great bikes/builders/manufactures/riders. Mike-the bike-Hailwood comes to mind. Won his last Isle of man TT on a bevel gear Ducaci in the 1970's, in his early forty's! Unfortunatly, He died in an car crash, I think in New Zealand. Gentalmen and Ladies, I salute the Bikes and Riders or yore, and salute the NEW Triumphs of the twenty first century.
:-D :-D :-D My Spell Check in in a non-operational mode at this moment, so please do not condem me for the mess I have written. Respectively Yours, Steve Du Bose.
The Norton's Shall Rise Again.
