I went wild and had custom Ohlins front and rear. I'm rather large, 6ft-3in, 295lbs. Had heavy set up made to carry touring loads and twoo up riding. Total was about 1500 bucks and worth every penny! Ride is smooth and predictable, sticks like glue. My thought is get the best parts you can afford. The ride is worth it. Good luck, Jeff
