On Sunday I pulled into the service station to fuel-up,and when done, I parked next to a Thunderbird and a couple of Harleys. The Harley owners were 1%er's and as soon as I got my helmet off the comments started, "nice bike", "good to see them on the road again", "sounds good" etc. Much to my surprise I found them to be quite,...."human", while chatting, biker #1 rolled up his sleeve and revealed a home made tattoo reading.... "Trophy 650" , at that point I knew I wasn't going to die, so we chatted for a couple more minutes, then exchanged secret biker hand shakes and left heading in different directions. Personally I think 1%er's are just misunderstood and they all just need a BIG HUG, however, you guys can give them the hug, then get back to me and tell me how you fared :-D :-D :-D

Good story! My Moms has a great biker story...Back in the 70's, she and Dad were driving across the country, and they stopped at a little historic turnout type park for lunch. While they were there a couple of big bad outlaw bikers rolled up on their hogs, got of and walked up to the sign. Mom saw one look all around to make sure no one was watching, then reach into his pocket. She was thinking maybe he was coming up with paint or a knife or God knows what...He looks around again..........And pulled out a camera, took a really quick snap of the sign, and put the camera back in his pocket as quick as possible!!! She always said she never jumped to conclusions about bikers after that, figured they were just people when it came down to it! :-D
