Why so much? Because stupid me didn't realize that the previous owner had drained the coolant for whatever reason and replaced it with (basically) straight water. Result?? Lots of rust.
I just hope I've caught it soon enough before it has become a serious problem. The upside is, I had a real nice ride today with nary a problem, my Sprint ran great.
