Hi Roger,
One thing I learned from my Tiger... I'll never buy a new bike again. Mine cost me £5795 (£1200 cheaper than new), was 5 months old and had 1,000 miles on it, was from a Triumph dealer and looked brand new...
True what they say, that the second it leaves the dealer, you pretty much lose a small fortune immediately. Yes you have the satisfaction of knowing every mile has been done by you, but that certainly ain't worth £1200 to me.
Have fun on yer Tiger mate...
One thing's for sure... when I come to change my bike, a Triumph tripple engine and the dealer back-up I've had so far means me' next bike will be a Triumph... Let's hope they're as good in 2008!
