Hi Roger. Congratulations. I have had mine about 3 months and am very pleased with it. I also find the helmet noise a worry coming from a cruiser to the Tiger via a Sprint. When doing any distance I use earplugs and all is well with the world.
Obviously a different ride to the cruiser but I find it sort of grows on you. Better handling, easy on my daily commute plus trips of 3-400klm ea week. Great on the highway but very agile on the twisty's.
On advice I fitted crashbars first up and think it adds to the bike. Guess I will be even more pleased should I "gently lower her to the ground" as it seems the height can catch you out when stationary or close to it.
I lowered the front forks thru the triple clamps 20 mm primarily for height reasons, but also found the steering turns sharper. No disadvantage on the highway.
