Re Potential buyer a few posts down.
Thanks to all who replied.
Went to local dealer, took out an 05, 5 minutes down the road and I had bought it in my head. Although when I got back to the dealer an hour later, I played "hard to get". I took another one out (Blue) that had been lowered by 40mm,
had one of those fancy exhausts on it. Spent another hour on the road. Got back to the garage, it was clear to me then...... I want a tiger !.
Went for walk to think, Orange, Blue or new ? Decided paying an extra £1.5 K or so, for new wasn't smart so bought the Orange one, 05, 5k miles, £5400.
Didn't find the height an issue, although reading the posts here I think it will be wise to get them there engine bars.
Only issue I had was "helmet noise", didn't find any wind buffeting issues, just the howl inside lid, which i never noticed before on the Hog. ........
Perhaps a scarf and earplugs ?
Only downside, I have to wait 2 weeks to get it home, due to holidays and dealer workload. (Hated riding the Harley home)
