Alright GUYS. Underpowered is relitive to what you ride. I have ridden the Thrux and many other bikes over the years the the Thrux is under powered. My Norton, which is not stock is a better performer. My V-7 sport is not. The V-7 has side car gears and will hit the 130 mph mark. Good exhaust helps. The 850 Guzzi Le mans I owned will eat a Thrux alive and give it change for a dime. The 903Z I had is still an animal bike(very poor chasis). My old Duck Darmah Desmo is no contest a more powerfull unit to the Thrux. The Thrux's I have ridden are great performer's and a DELUX ride. A real blast to ride in stock form. But my Dodge Viper is a pure speed freak rush . It really is realitive. :-D :-D The ultimate question is, what do you really want a motorcyce to do? Is the Hyuyamasukihonwaski (UJM) the answer? If it were, you would not be reading this forum. Buy your Thruxton's and modify the s**t out of it. That is what motorcycles are about.The term is called personalization. The UJMS are Cookie Cutter Sterile Units. Triumph's, Ducati's, Guzzi's, Agusta's are NOT. The New Non Available Norton Is A WET DREAM. If It finally shows, I might consider one.
