So, 45mpg (UK) equals 37.47033846mpg (US) approximately
and 60mpg (UK) equals 49.96045128mpg (US)
That's really close to my numbers since Foxee probably drives in a less geezerly manner than yours truly!
I also ride at average elevations above 2500 feet (US) so that probably has some effect on my fuel consumption. I've also heard that gas (US) has more energy than petrol (UK), that's why the gallons have to be bigger!
