most XM radios that come with car mounts have a little swivel mount with adhesive, I had mine mounted right to the top tree ( below the ignition)
I created a small antenna mount by painting a corner piece from hardware store looks like an L that has a hole in it
just mounted it to the screw hole next to idiot lights ( I'll take a picture in daylight tomorrow)
love listening to XM on the highways, can bounce from news to country to any era of rock etc
