I'm thinking of painting my stock rear foot rest hangers (in a box designated "original") black.
I have the chrome versions on now, and I know, that those of you who have chanced upon some of my posts may be raising an eye brow. Retreat from the planet Chromitarium?!
But, I'm thinking I've taken the chrome thing over board, at least for me.
So, if I want to paint the stock hangers black to match the black on the back end of the bike: do I need to strip, sand, prime,... What? I'm such a dunderhead that I hardly know what questions to ask. What kind and color paint?
