I was glad to see Triumphs back in production and that motivated me to get back in to biking after a 12 year hiatus. I bought an America in 2003 and than persuaded my wife that if I got a Rocket my20year old son and I could have more Quality time together! Actually that quality time did turn into alot of local trips along with membership in various clubs. My first rocket developed trans vibration problems . After several attempts at fixing the problem I'm on replacement bike. Triumph corp. have been a very prompt and courteous in taking care of the problem. I'm a group lead helicopter mechanic , maintaining and modifying special forces power train and drive train components . I love riding both of my bikes . I have made these upgrades to my Red 2005 rocket ; Factory bags (these required reinforcement panels in order to keep their shape),Handel bar risers(this moved my grips up 1" and back 2"),Factory exhaust mod (Realized an increase in performance , not to mention the intimidation factor when she starts up),Factory engine and rear dresser bars, windshield , road lights , fuel Gage , gel seat , clock kit , short sissy bar and luggage rack , fog light kit , axillary power socket , oil temp. gage (located in place of oil fill) ,and chrome oil reservoir tank(have not installed this yet). My rocket is alot of fun to ride . I have done alot of riding through the hills of Kentucky , where I live, along with Virgina and Tennessee . I feel better rear shocks are in the future along with bar mounted oil pressure , rad. fluid temp. gages. Normally I don't interact much with web. sites . Hope this wasn't to long winded!!
