Other than big $ and lbs difference, is either better or worse in anybody's informed opinion. Thanks, I'll take my answer "off the air".

I have the professional model. Only pluses I have seen is its lighter and comes with a set of three inch risers, if your lifting something with a high frame like a ATV.
Cons. It doesn't have the foot pump like the standard model, so you jack it up with the handle, which is also the same handle you use to move it around. Can be a bit of a pain, but it works
