I read about Bonneville gas cap problems here before I bought mine, but have never had the problem. It has always been simply unscrew and put back with only once click. Well, last night I stopped to fill up and could NOT get the cap off. Here I am in the middle of a crowded station looking like a dweeb trying to get the ###$%%!!! thing off. Finally I pushed down with the palm of my hand and turned while pressing down. Presto! Came right off. Don't know if this caused it or not, but last time I fueled up I clicked it twice instead of once putting it back on. Anyway, the palm action works.
