I am sure it will work on other models too. Unfortunately they are not very bright but they do look good. I will look for brighter LED's later, but to be honest, I see no need for front turn signals anyways. I just didn't want to fill the holes and I didn't want to pay $130 for the Greggs flush mounts.
Alright, here we go.
First remove stock turn signals
Next remove cover and pry reflector out.
Unlpug wires and pull them out (you will need to save these).
Pull flexable mount away from plastic light housing.
Take dremel with cutting disk and remove the stem from the base. (Tip: leave excess on the base then shave it down.)
and this is what you are left with.
You are now readt to insert the LED. The ones I bought were from RadioShack (part # 276-272) which have a built in resistor. Unfortunately they are not very bright. But you can probably find much brighter ones then these. The LED fits a 9/32" mounting hole and wedges in very nicely.
and it will look like this.
You will then take the stock wires that you removed from the stock light housing and splice them to the LED wires. It should look like this.
Then just install them back on the bike.
This is a great alternative to those who don't want to spend $130 on the Greggs flush mounts but still want a flush mount. The Radioshack LED's are were $2 ea but even if you buy brighter ones, it should be cheap to do.
