I've been looking for a GPS that'll fit well on my S3.. I have a Lowrance IWay 500c on the Wing but wanted to have something smaller and battery powered for the Triple..
The natural choice was the IWay 350c, perfect fit and lots of featuress.. Went through two units before it occured to me that the S3 was the only place the unit would shut down every couple of miles.. The unit worked perfectly in both cars and on the Wing, but there was something about the S3 that was a prob.. Returned the unit..
I mounted the IWay 500c on the S3 tonight as a test and it lasted longer, but it rebooted!!! This unit is bulletproof with over 50k miles on it in the car and the Wing, never a hicupp!!
I'm thinking RFI from the FI or ignition system??? Anybody else had issues with electronics on an S3???
