Well, the "bit in one method" went south as soon as I dropped the socket while trying for the elusive center carb. :wow:

So I changed my mixture screws to 2 turns out after I tore the thing apart looking for the lost socket (which was finally retrieved using a cow magnet).

I took it for a shake-down ride afterward and it still coughs and burbles about the same amount when the throttle is off and I'm coasting or decelerating with the clutch out. It's ok, though - not a real big deal.

If I decide to change the mixture screws again, I'll definitely look into one of those tricky 90-degree screwdrivers! :hammer:
