I don't have a Nolan flip up but I do have an HJC Symax. I just bought a conventional full face helmet to see if the wind noise will be reduced. I have heard that all flip up helmets produce more noise due to the great creases in the helmet to allow for the flip functionality.
Just keep that in mind when shopping for a flip up style lid.
