I have had my 06 ST for about a month now and am loving it after too many years off two wheels, the power is great, not scary, no big powerbands to talk of and lots of useable torque. If only it would stop raining on my days off it would be even better. These things handle like a dream compared to my old 80 bonnie, no wallowing into corners and the brakes!!!! Yahooo. I know you are going to have as good a time as I am, if it ever stops raining, whats the old song "here i am in camp grandada ". Have a pwerbronze hugger on order to keep the rear end looking good, bloody hell I wish it would stop raining. Did I mention it was raining here? Have fun and avoid the cops and gravel rash.
