Stine, if it is a cat I have the solution for you. I'm experiencing the same problem and have sprinkled "crushed red peppers" (the really hot stuff) all around my bike. It might not prevent the cats from doing their thing, but it will sure as h*ll surprise them the next time they lick their paws. By the way this works in freshly planted flower beds also.
