The seat comes off kind of weird, you have to turn the key and pull a "rip cord" (see photo) on the other side of the seat. The seat comes off in one piece.

Seems redundant, but the engineers must have had (safety?)issues with seat removal by key only. Or is this a better way to keep the underworld from messing with the bike?
Hoping to be able to ride sometime with you in the near future.
