I picked up my new '06 Rocket Classic today. Very happy. The 10 mile ride home turned into the 70 mile tour. I had to come home when the temp got into the lower 40s F. Love the bike.
I have been babying it until I get some more miles on it. Paint job looks great. What was kind of cool is when I took the seat off at the dealer I saw the pinstriper's name on the base of the tank (see photo). The seat comes off kind of weird, you have to turn the key and pull a "rip cord" (see photo) on the other side of the seat. The seat comes off in one piece.
I took some snapshots in the garage. I will take some in the daylight hours as these do not do the paint job justice.
Tom, it's supposed to be nice out tomorrow, will you be able to come out and play?
