Rivco parts - the ones that cover the headers to the pipe covers?

Will jeans be enough thickness?

Fortunately, there's less traffic in the summer......... my brother has a vtx that's got a pretty good chunk of engine and it's not too bad even with the radiator fan going. Visually this engine looks much bigger than the difference in displacement though .

I can see there's going to be a few things that need to be tweaked (license plate location etc). The bike I'm looking at has (I beilieve) factory performance pipes put on by the dealer .....look stock but I assume better breathing and they have no cat. Will the stock ecm handle the difference or will I end up with a power commander or similar?
