If the product is just a pot, what sensor reding is it duplicating? I can't think of any sensor that would give that kind of power.
All it can possibly do is richen the mixture across the board, not a recipe for power.
And as far as superchargers, most stock CAR ecu's (far more computing power than a bike) can compensate for the boost since they have mass airflow sensors, and intake manifold pressure sensors. But most cars have sealed brains, so the only way to get a performance boost is to re-chip it, or replace the entire unit with one that has been re-programmed.
