I think you are going to be hard pressed to get a good answer on this one. If you sold an excellent bike and got one with "issues" would you admit to yourself you made a mistake? Then again if you had an RS maybe you were sportbike wannabe and the new one is really what you wanted. I love my 02 and don't care too much for the looks of the 05+. Also, I don't see that much street improvement for a sport tourer, track yes, but street not really. This is a case where you are just going to have to make up your own mind.
