Negative, You will have to pull the tank off the bike to get to the float. Held on with four bolts and a rubber gasket. It's easy to remove just timely. Then you can just tip the float holder upside down and it will slide right out, if it's not stuck? You can also hook the wiring back up (once removed from the tank) to test the float manually by hand by sliding the float up and down slowly to check the connections.
