Very well put. The TORs are just slightly louder than the stock pipes and the stock pipes are terrible, IMO. WAY too quite and I will assume too restrictive.
Since you're prepared to spend some $ on pipes I'd strongly suggest the Hydes. They come with removable baffles (thus giving you a few options) and are compatible w/the center stand on my 05 T100. They're fairly quite until 3/4 throttle then that sound real good.
