You might want to look at the Buell pegs. The ZRX1200 riders have eaten that mod up. You can go to zrxoa.org and find the thread. I did look at using the Buell pegs on a 2005 Sprint ST, but it looked to be a sufficient enough challenge that I deferred (and I have a helluva a machinist at my disposal....just too much trouble to do). I don't know how similar the peg parts/spacing are on the 04 Daytona. I'm unaware of what the TLR pegs are like. The beauty of the Buell pegs is they drop a full 1"! The mod is simple and VERY effective for the ZRX, and the SET of pegs was $20. If your interested I'll dig up the online Buell dealer, part is something like 10006.AD It does make a tremendous difference, and I can vouch that it can make the difference between keeping/selling. The custom rear sets are so expensive I just can't justify spending like that....too many other toys.
