I have to agree with David, I put on the Pilot Roads a few weeks and a few hundred miles ago. They are the single best improvement I have made to the bike.

The stock Tourances felt wooden. I got great life (11,000 miles) out of them but felt disconnected from the road. I was afraid to lean the bike.

The Pilot Roads give much better feedback and allow me to lean the bike at angles I would never try before.

I have yet to try them in the wet so I can't comment there. Unfortunately I also can't comment on the expected tire life as they are so new.

Another thing, I looked at the BT020's Pilot Roads, Continental Attacks and the Avon Azaro ST's. The only front tires (in our 110/80 19 size) that I could actually find ready for shipment in the US were the Bridgstones and the Michelins. This was about a month ago. I still dont think you can get the front Conti and Avon in the US, but maybe someone can prove me wrong.

If you are interested, Tire Express has the Michelins in stock in our sizes. They are the only place I could find the front.

Good luck,

John
