Welcome to the forum.. I will be picking my R-III up at RPM Cycles this coming weekend.

Obviously, I can't speak for it maintenance wise, but I owned a Thunderbird Sport for 4 years and 36,000 miles. The only problem I ever had was I had to replace the brushes in the starter once. The current owner is coming up on 40,000 miles and she still runs better than new. I sure miss that bike!

New Triumph's are very reliable bikes, as reliable as any on the market today. That big motor is so under-stressed ,with proper maintenance, it should last a long, long time.
